How do I know if my purchase is qualified for getting Shopping Credits?

Once you sign into your WU Shop profile, you’ll be able to see all the top online shopping brands on our website. Using the store links available in WU Shop, you’ll be able to make qualifying and eligible purchases that earn you Shopping Credits as per the details mentioned there.

A purchase is defined as qualifying and eligible for Shopping Credits when you either:

Click through to the partner website via a designated link from WU Shop.
Click a link in an email from Western Union that goes directly to a partner website.

When will my Shopping Credits be available?

Once the store confirms a qualifying purchase with Western Union, the Shopping Credits you earned on the purchases is usually available within 90 to 120 days.

How do I redeem my Shopping Credits?

Shopping Credits can be redeemed once your account accrues a minimum of €20 by following these steps:

Once you accrue €20 in your wallet, you become eligible to withdraw Shopping Credits as a gift card.
Click on “Withdraw Shopping Credits” button.
Choose the available gift card for redemption.
Click “Withdraw”.
A confirmation will be sent to you via your email.

For how long do my Shopping Credits remain valid?

Remember, the more you shop, the more you gain and save. In case of account inactivity for 24 months or more, i.e., when no qualifying purchases are made for 2 years (24 months) from the day of issuance, your Shopping Credits will expire.

Is there a minimum limit for withdrawing Shopping Credits as gift cards?

Yes, you need a minimum of €20 available in Shopping Credits to make a withdrawal as gift card. There’s no limit to how much you earn on your purchases via WU Shop, however, Shopping Credits are allotted for personal purchases only. Using Shopping Credits for any commercial profit may lead to your profile being permanently terminated or locked.

Why didn’t I get Shopping Credits for my purchase?

You might not get Shopping Credits if your purchase doesn’t qualify for some of these reasons:

You purchased a product at a discount.
You used a coupon, gift card, or voucher to pay for the purchase.
You purchased from a store that doesn’t offer Shopping Credits on mobile purchases. You can check the WU Shopping Credits on the selected store’s page on WU Shop.
